Our Mission…
The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Washington is dedicated to the pedigree dog and adherence to sound principles that enable this wonderful breed to flourish. Members are a diverse group united in their interest in the breed. They spend time with their dogs at home on the sofa and at a variety of activities, including social events and all kinds of competitions. Some also breed and raise puppies. All love their dogs.
The STCGW sponsors a conformation specialty show and hosts other events throughout the year to encourage quality breeding, sportsmanlike competition, and fellowship. We also host meetings several times a year to encourage camaraderie and collaboration among members.
Throughout our website, we hope to convey who we are, what we do and how you can learn about our extraordinary and versatile breed.
